SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. — Megan Boswell, the 18-year-old mother of baby Evelyn, had a video arraignment from jail Wednesday morning.
A preliminary hearing date for March 2 was set. Boswell was charged with one count of false reports.
Her daughter, 15-month-old Evelyn remains missing. The toddler's disappearance prompted an Amber Alert after she was reported missing on Feb. 18.

Both Megan Boswell and her mother Angela, are in the same Tennessee jail after giving conflicting accounts about the toddler's disappearance.
Authorities frustrated by their multiple versions of what happened to Evelyn Mae Boswell announced a Wednesday afternoon news conference on developments in the case.
The little girl's great-grandfather told the Bristol Herald Courier that he hadn't seen Evelyn Mae since about a week before Thanksgiving.
Now the missing girl's mother, Megan Boswell, and grandmother Angela Boswell are in the Sullivan County Jail.
