Reward for return of Evelyn Boswell now up to $56,000

Since authorities issued the Amber Alert, they've received over 300 tips as of Saturday evening.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. — The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office said the reward for the safe return of missing 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell now stands at $56,000.

Since issuing the Amber Alert, over 300 tips have been received as of Saturday evening. The TBI said "a number of conflicting statements in addition to the fact that Evelyn was not immediately reported missing makes it a complicated case."

The following people and companies have contributed to the reward fund:

  • Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy - $1,000
  • Alan Levine - $5,000
  • Ballad Health - $25,000
  • Fuller Paving Group - $2,000
  • Indian Springs Armory - $500
  • Storage Source One Self-Storage-$2,500
  • Tommy Boswell Sr. - $10,000
  • Tommy Boswell Jr. - $10,000

Evelyn was reported missing earlier this week. On Friday, Sheriff Jeff Cassidy announced in a press conference he was donating his own money and starting a reward fund. Ballad Health and CEO Alan Levine along with Fuller Paving Group followed shortly with their own contributions to the fund.

On Saturday, the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office announced Indian Springs Armory and Storage Source One Self-Storage have also contributed to the reward fund. Tommy Boswell Sr and Tommy Boswell Jr also added $10,000 each on Saturday afternoon.
