KODAK, Tenn. — The Tennessee Smokies won their first playoff game of the season against Birmingham Barons on Tuesday. The final score was 3-1.
The second game of the series is taking place in Birmingham on Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. If the Smokies win, they'll head to the championship and take on either the Biloxi Shuckers or the Montgomery Biscuits. If they lose, they'll play an elimination game against Birmingham on Friday, Sept. 20.
The Tennessee Smokies are expected to play their inaugural game in the new downtown Knoxville Stadium on April 15, 2025. That game will also be against the Chattanooga Lookouts for a six-game series lasting until April 20, 2025.
Full season tickets went on sale Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. Tickets range in price from $1,050 for basic season tickets, to $4,750 for club membership tickets.
