KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — It’s been a good week for Tennessee regarding talented, experienced transfers committing to play for the Orange and White in 2024.
Stanford defensive lineman Jaxson Moi committed to UT football on Sunday afternoon. Moi is Tennessee’s eighth transfer to commit this offseason.
Moi is the second transfer of the day to commit to Tennessee. LSU offensive tackle Lance Heard committed early Sunday afternoon.
The 6'2'', 303-pound transfer totaled 37 tackles, one sack, and three pass deflections in his collegiate career. He played in all 12 games for the Cardinal this season and made seven starts throughout the year.
Moi will be a junior next season and has two years of eligibility remaining. The defensive lineman can bring a lot of versatility to the line, and having multiple years of eligibility is promising for Tennessee in the future.
