ATLANTA — Former Tennessee Vols QB Josh Dobbs scored his first touchdown as a Viking and led the team to a 31-28 win against the Atlanta Falcons in the game's final moments.
In the third quarter, Dobbs ran 23 yards into the endzone. Afterward, he threw to Trishton Jackson for a successful two-point conversion to tie the game.
With 20 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Dobbs threw it to Brandon Powell for a touchdown. The Falcons attempted to score quickly but couldn't come up with the win.
Dobbs was traded from the Arizona Cardinals to the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday. He didn't start the game but was put in after backup QB Jaren Hall suffered a concussion in the first quarter.
Minnesota is the eighth different NFL team Dobbs has been a member of.
