MINNEAPOLIS β The Arizona Cardinals have traded VFL quarterback Josh Dobbs to the Minnesota Vikings.
Dobbs has started the first eight games of the season for the Cardinals and has thrown for 1,569 yards along with eight touchdowns and five interceptions in that span. He earned his first victory as an NFL starter on Sept. 24 in a win against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Vikings are making the move with their starting quarterback Kirk Cousins suffering a season-ending Achilles injury this past week.
Minnesota will be the eighth different team Dobbs will be a member of in his NFL career. The Vikings are set to play the Cleveland Browns this week, whom Dobbs signed with to start this season.
