As people across the Volunteer State took to the water to beat the heat over Memorial Day weekend, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency was out on patrol to make sure everyone was safe.
According to TWRA spokesperson Matt Cameron, the agency has responded to at least four property damage boating incidents and three serious injury incidents over the weekend.
He also said officers have arrested 12 BUI offenders across the state.
The agency has also been active on social media to remind people of boating safety and regulations.
The agency said it will have a full report sometime Tuesday afternoon.
