UTPD: 44 fans ejected and 15 arrested during Morgan Wallen concerts at Neyland Stadium

A total of 44 fans were ejected over the country music singer's two performances and 15 were arrested, according to authorities.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Authorities at the University of Tennessee said dozens of fans were ejected from Neyland Stadium during Morgan Wallen's Friday and Sunday performances, and some were arrested.

According to the University of Tennessee Police Department, a total of 15 fans were arrested. Police said officers made eight arrests on Friday and made seven arrests on Sunday. Information on the circumstances surrounding the arrests was not immediately available.

UTPD also said a total of 20 fans were ejected from the stadium on Friday and another 24 fans were ejected on Sunday, totaling 44 fans who had to be brought out of the stadium.

The university said the two performances brought out 156,161 fans, breaking records. The previous record for Knoxville performances was set by The Jackson 5 in 1984 when the pop music group brought out 148,407 fans across three performances.
