KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Rocky Top will always be home sweet home to Morgan Wallen.

The East Tennessee native and country singer concluded his two-show-run at Neyland Stadium on Sunday with thousands in attendance.

According to the University of Tennessee, Wallen made history with Knoxville's largest weekend totaling 156,161 fans across both nights. This number surpassed the record previously held by The Jackson 5 across three shows in 1984 with 148,407 fans.

Not only did Wallen make history with fan count, but he even kicked off his first night by walking out with some 2024 Tennessee Baseball team members, including head coach Tony Vitello.

On Sunday, Wallen walked out with Josh Heupel, Nico Iamaleava, Bru McCoy and VFL Peyton Manning, who donned his retired college uniform. This came just a day after the Vols won their first SEC game of the season against Heupel's alma mater.

“One thing that I miss though about the smaller shows is I could walk out on stage and I could look pretty much everybody in the eyes, so this is my attempt at trying to recreate some of that," Wallen said. "To come back here and look some more of y’all in the eyes and say thank you for supporting me and my music.”

Come back anytime, Morgan.
