KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — East Tennessee native Morgan Wallen is coming to Neyland Stadium to perform for two nights starting Friday.
But how will this affect parking on the University of Tennessee campus for students and staff?
UT said all campus lots will close starting at 2 p.m. Students or staff with a parking permit who are going to the concert can park in their concert-specific lot on Friday morning. Lots will be staffed at 7 a.m.
If students or staff arrive or remain on campus after 2 p.m., they are told to park in the Park-and-Ride location at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum. Individuals can park in that lot regardless if they have a parking permit.
As for T Buses, they will operate regularly until noon.
At noon, the Park-and-Ride and the off-campus routes will transition to a campus transfer point on the west side of the student union. All other routes will pick up at Circle Park instead of Gate 21.
All T Bus routes will stop at 2 p.m. The last Park-and-Ride shuttle will leave the student union at 6 p.m.
On Sunday, Sept. 22, staff and commuter permits are not valid on campus. Non-commuter lots will not be affected by the concerts.
