KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Morgan Wallen is coming to Rocky Top and the University of Tennessee is welcoming fans with open arms.

Wallen announced in July he will perform at Neyland Stadium on Friday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 22. Both shows will start at 6:30 p.m., gates open at 4:30 p.m.

Each show is expected to bring up to 80,000 people to UT's campus, the university said.

Classes will go on as normal on Friday, but the university is asking concertgoers not to come on campus before 2 p.m.

Parking and shuttles

Campus lots will open to concertgoers with parking passes at 2 p.m., and T buses will transition to special event service at that time. More information on concert-day parking and bus schedules is available on the parking website.

Digital tickets and gate information

Concertgoers with tickets in the general bowl will access their digital tickets through the Ticketmaster app. Those with premium tickets will access their digital tickets through the Tennessee Athletics app.

Concertgoers are encouraged to download their tickets to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay before arriving on campus.

Those who need assistance with their digital tickets can visit the Gate 21 ticket booth on the day of the concert, according to UT.

Those with field-level tickets will enter at Gate 7 and those with pit tickets will enter at Gate 25. Those with general bowl tickets can enter at any nonpremium gate. Those with premium tickets should enter at the gate listed.

RockyTopWiFi will be available in and around Neyland Stadium, UT said.

Concertgoer experiences and support

The university will have a Volunteer Club tailgate on Humanities Plaza at 3 p.m. You can purchase those tickets here.

On Friday, concert ticket holders can get into the Tennessee volleyball game vs. Western Michigan at Food City Center for free. The game starts at 2 p.m.

First-aid stations serviced by UT Medical Center will be available throughout Neyland Stadium.

If you're looking to buy Morgan Wallen merchandise before the show, there will be merchandise locations outside Neyland at Gate 21 on the northwest corner, outside Ramp 10 on the southwest corner and outside Gate 4 on the southeast corner. Each location will open at 2 p.m.

Merchandise will also be available throughout Neyland Stadium during both shows.
