KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The debut album by Knoxville native and The Voice runner-up Emily Ann Roberts is number 4 on the iTunes country album charts.
Roberts' first EP is titled Someday Dream and includes six songs. Roberts helped write five of them.
“I’ve worked so hard for the past few years on this music and I couldn’t be more excited that it’s finally out,” exclaims Roberts. “I’m gonna take a minute today to enjoy my 'someday dream' of releasing a collection of original music.”
Roberts got her first taste of fame in 2015 while performing for Team Black on season nine of NBC's "The Voice." She finished second in the music competition to Jordan Smith of Harlan, Kentucky.
The Karns high graduate hasn't stopped performing since. Most recently, she was named one of the top 20 acts at Nashville's CMA Fest by Rolling Stone magazine.
Roberts prides herself on her classic country vibe, citing Dolly Parton and bluegrass music as an influence.
