In 2015, a high school student from Knoxville went all the way to the finale of Season 9 of NBC's hit show "The Voice."
Emily Ann Roberts, just 17 at the time, was a stand out performer who sang in the choir at Karns High School. She was chosen to be coached by Blake Shelton and when the show ended, she was runner-up on the show.
In her time since returning home to East Tennessee, Roberts has kept busy. She finished high school, and began working on her career with appearances all over the East Tennessee area.
On Nov. 4, Emily Ann will share a concert stage fellow season 9 contestant, Zach Seabaugh at Knoxville's Civic Auditorium. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.). Tickets range in price from $106 (V.I.P.) to $23 and are available at sale now at knoxvilletickets.com.
On Friday, Emily Ann sat in as co-anchor of Live at Five at 4. The singer shared some of her favorite things and talked fashion with two of her favorite local boutiques, Josie's Boutique and Spoiled Rotten.
