KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department announced a recent indictment for a deadly shooting that happened in October 2023.
KPD said after a continued investigation, 33-year-old Thomas Solomon was indicted by a Knox County Grand Jury for second-degree murder among other charges in connection to the murder of 47-year-old Trista Denton.
Denton was shot at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Ben Hur Avenue on Monday, Oct. 9, according to KPD.
Knoxville Police said she later died at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
