KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — A Knox County company announced Wednesday that more of its workers could lose their jobs, around a month after it said 115 workers would lose their jobs.

Technical Response Inc. said in August 2024 that 115 workers could lose their jobs, filing a WARN notice with the state. On Sept. 18, the company filed another notice that said 90 additional workers could be affected.

The latest WARN notice said the layoffs would begin on Nov. 5 and would be completed by Nov. 19.

The notice said Technical Response Inc.'s workers were not represented by a collective bargaining agreement and did not have bumping rights, meaning workers would not need to be moved to another position because their jobs were abolished.

The notice said the East Local Workforce Development Area rapid response team would work with them to coordinate services. The teams can help workers find ways to supplement the loss of income, navigate health insurance options or start training programs.
