Knox County neighborhood puts on teddy bear hunt for families to entertain kids stuck at home

Residents put stuffed animals in their front windows so families could drive through and see how many they could spot.

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — The residents of Sterchi Hills in the Fountain City area wanted to do something special for the kids cooped up inside to practice social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

They let them go on a bear hunt...kind of.

Residents put stuffed animals in their front windows so families could drive through and see how many they could spot.

It was a nice way to get out on a bright sunny day for a little fun.
