KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A 10Weather Impact Alert is in place for Thursday and Friday due to a drop in temperatures.
A cold front will begin making its way through East Tennessee Wednesday afternoon, bringing windy conditions. Lows will be in the 30s on Wednesday night with wind chill factors into the 20s.
We expect highs in the 40s on Thursday and Friday, but wind chills will make it feel much cooler. It's important to make sure you dress properly to stay warm, especially if you have to be outside for an extended period.
There is a chance for snow is mainly across the higher elevations and maybe a flurry or two into lower elevations. Stay tuned for updates!
