President Biden to visit Tampa, St. Pete Beach after Hurricane Milton

The president will arrive around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 at MacDill Air Force Base to survey areas heavily impacted by Hurricane Milton.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — President Joe Biden will be visiting the Bay area Sunday after Hurricane Milton left widespread impacts across the region.

The president will reportedly be traveling to Tampa and St. Pete Beach to survey areas heavily impacted by the storm. He is scheduled to arrive around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 at MacDill Air Force Base.

The White House says the president will depart Tampa to participate in an aerial tour of affected areas before arriving at Albert Whitted Airport in St. Petersburg.

After this, Biden will reportedly receive a briefing with federal, state, and local officials in St. Pete Beach before greeting first responders and locals.

After giving remarks, the president will then head back to MacDill Air Force Base before leaving Florida for Philadelphia International Airport.
