I joined WBIR in January of 2014, after graduating Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a BS in Geography and a Certificate in Atmospheric Sciences (Sic 'Em Dawgs!).
I grew up in Baltimore, MD and Atlanta, GA. I knew I wanted to be a meteorologist from the age of 4. Weather is one of the only things we can't control, and this intrigues me. Since moving to Knoxville, I have realized the weather in East Tennessee is some of the most dynamic weather in the country!
I think this area is great not only for the weather, but also for the people. Everyone is so helpful and incredibly nice. I love the wide variety of restaurants and live music Knoxville has to offer.
When I'm not busy looking at radar, I love being outdoors, cooking, watching football, and traveling.
