KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — East Tennessee kids have enjoyed quite a long break from school thanks to the snow, ice and frigid cold. Many will get another day off due to the lingering ice on roads.
Several schools are calling off classes for yet another day on Tuesday, Jan. 23 out of caution due to icy roads, but driving conditions are expected to improve Tuesday afternoon as temps climb above freezing and into the 50s during a warming trend that will ramp up through the week.
