KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — MEDIC Regional Blood Center will need help from donors after the winter weather passes through.
Vice President of Communications and Public Relations Kristy Altman said in an email that all four blood centers will be closed and there will be no mobile blood drives on Tuesday.
Altman said the blood center will desperately need donors once the centers open again so the blood supply can be stabilized.
Medic has locations in downtown Knoxville, Farragut, Crossville and Athens. Prospective donors can schedule an appointment online or call 865-524-3074.
Altman said updates about when blood centers will open and blood drives will resume will be provided.
