KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Four of five lanes were blocked due to a commercial vehicle fire on I-40 West just past West Hills Saturday afternoon, according to TDOT.
According to the Knoxville Fire Department, a mattress fell off a truck driving in front of the tractor-trailer, went under the tractor-trailer and broke a fuel line causing the trailer to catch fire.
No injuries have been reported, KFD said.
