KPD: 151 people arrested over the Thanksgiving holiday

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department released its Thanksgiving Holiday Traffic Report on Monday. 

KPD said the Thanksgiving Enforcement Period ran from 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 26. 

During that span, officers had 30 total crash investigations. Six of those crashes involved an injury, but none were fatal, according to KPD. 

413 warnings were issued, 58 motorists were assisted, nine people were arrested for DUI and 382 total tickets were given out—with 107 of them involving speeding. 151 people were arrested, KPD said.
