KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — An overturned vehicle blocked two eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 in East Knox County Thursday night, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
It said the vehicle had overturned at around 8:42 p.m. Eastern Time past the exit to Midway Road. Video footage from near the crash site showed vehicles using the shoulder lane to pass by the overturned vehicle, which appeared to be an RV.
The crash backed up traffic past the exit.
