ACSO says that one lane in each direction of Clinton Highway has now been reopened. Officials ask drivers to use caution while traveling in this area as clean-up continues.

Clinton Highway remains closed in both directions from Mehaffey Road to Lonesome Drive and could take another hour or so, according to ACSO. Crews are continuing to clean up from power lines being down.

Clinton Highway will be closed in both directions Monday morning from Mehaffey Road to Lonesome Dove Road due to power lines being down, according to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office.
Crews hope to have the highway cleared around 8 a.m. on Monday, ACSO said. Officials ask that drivers find an alternate route until it reopens.
