LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. — Update (11:41 a.m.): All lanes of I-75 are now back open.

--

I-75 South was closed temporarily near the I-40 split on Wednesday morning after a wreck involving a semi-truck.

The semi-truck driver has minor injuries, according to the Loudon County Sheriff's Office.

While deputies were on scene, a second non-injury wreck involving a separate semi-truck and a sedan happened. The second wreck almost struck a deputy who was on foot and attempting to check on the driver from the first wreck, LCSO said.

The law enforcement agency is asking the public to seek alternate routes if possible.
