A truck carrying a large amount of scrap metal tipped over on Governor John Sevier Highway in East Knoxville on Tuesday and blocked both sides of the road.
The incident happened just off the Asheville Highway intersection at the Holston River, and the truck dumped metal across one side of the road.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation said the road was closed on both sides at the intersection, and KPD asked people to find a different route.
