ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Transportation said a lane was back open Friday night after a crash and fuel spill closed I-40 East near Rockwood.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation said the crash was reported at around 8:53 p.m. Eastern Time. At around 10:11 p.m., a spokesperson posted on social media that the right lane of the road was back open.
However, TDOT said traffic was still backed up to near Westel Road after the lane was reopened.
