No injuries reported after minivan drives off the road and up power pole in West Knox County

Rural Metro Fire and Knox County Rescue responded to calls about a car crash around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and found a minivan leaning against a power pole.

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — No injuries were reported after Rural Metro Fire and Knox County Rescue responded to calls about a car crash around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Officials said that it happened at 309 South David Lane in West Knox County. There, they found a mini-van that drove off the road and up a guidewire, ending up leaning against a power pole.

Officials said that the occupant was not injured, but was unable to exit the vehicle. Crews were able to get the person out safely, officials said.

Information about how the vehicle went off the road and its status were not immediately available.
