KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Officials said that a crash on I-40 East blocked the left lanes near the Papermill exit Thursday night.
They said that calls about the crash came in at around 10:08 p.m. and that two vehicles were involved. They sent officers and ambulances and said it was not cleared as of 10:26 p.m. Officials also said that one vehicle was overturned.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation said that the crash was expected to be cleared by 11:09 p.m. and that westbound traffic was not affected.
