LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. — Officials said that all lanes of traffic were back open on I-40 East after a six-car crash with injuries near the Buttermilk Road exit. Originally, all lanes were closed because of the crash.
They said that responders were working to treat people who were injured in the crash. Police also said they were investigating the cause of the crash.
The crash was reported at around 2 p.m. according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
It also blocked the left and right shoulders of the highway.
