A crash closed southbound lanes of I-81 in Jefferson County Wednesday evening, near the exit leading to U.S. 25 East and White Pine.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation said the crash was reported at around 6:15 p.m. Eastern Time and backed up traffic nearby. The department said northbound traffic was still moving Wednesday evening.
