I-75 South reopens in Campbell Co. after crash involving several vehicles with injuries

According to Mark Nagi with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the interstate was closed at Mile Marker 155 -- approximately 6 miles from the state line.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. — Interstate 75 Southbound reopened in Campbell County near the Tennessee/Kentucky state line after a serious crash involving numerous vehicles with injuries.

According to Mark Nagi with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the interstate had to be closed at Mile Marker 155 -- approximately 6 miles from the state line. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said all lanes reopened at 7 p.m.

Nagi said the crash involved four commercial vehicles and several other passenger vehicles.

According to THP, multiple injuries were reported.
