KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department said two people were killed in a crash on the I-40 East to I-640 East ramp Monday morning.
According to Knoxville Police, based on the evidence, the involved vehicle was traveling east on the I-40 ramp to I-640 when it ran off the road and struck a guardrail.
They said the reason the vehicle ran off the road is unknown at this time.
The two people involved in the crash were identified as Florida residents, KPD said.
Police are still investigating.
