The rains may have subsided, but communities are still trying to navigate the floodwaters.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation is continuing to work crews to patch potholes and to monitor routes for flooding and potential slide concerns, according to TDOT spokesperson Mark Nagi.
These are the latest road conditions and closures released by TDOT.
Current locations affected by possible slope failures and high water as of 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 25:
Anderson:
St Rt 116 at LM 9.4- GSI Responding-Maintenance Contract. 1 lane configuration
St Rt 9 right lane closed at LM 17 due to slide. Geotech is still reviewing, Ops is beginning repair work for Temporary Repair
Blount:
SR-73 (Lamar Alexander Parkway) is closed to one lane at the 25MM due to two landslides.
Cocke:
I-40 closed at Exit 451 due to slide in NC
Greene:
St Rt 340 between Neil and Turner (5.04 – 7.65) One Lane Traffic due to slide
Hamblen:
St Rt 344 at Needmore Road (3.8 MM) closed due to flooding
St Rt 34 at Russelville Elementary School (13.72 MM) closed due to flooding
Hancock:
SR 63. LM 2.5 closed due to flooding
SR 33 LM 23 closed due to flooding
Hawkins:
St Rt 113 at Melinda Ferry Road (3.78 MM) closed due to flooding
St Rt 70 Cave Springs Road to Clinch Valley Rd (15.1 -18.3 MM) closed due to slide
St Rt 66 New Life Road to Clinch Valley Road (23.32 – 26.25) one lane traffic due to slide
Jefferson:
St Rt 363 closed due to cracking/settlement in roadway (LM 2-2.5). Repair in progress by Operations.
Knox:
St Rt 332 (Northshore) Closed in multiple locations due to flooding
St Rt 62 at Hackworth (2 MM) shoulder closed due to slide (all travel lanes open)
Morgan County:
SR-116 is closed to one lane at LM 5.0 due to break off on the roadway.
Sevier:
St Rt 416 reduced to 1 lane of travel LM 2.4. Operations Repair forthcoming
St Rt 338 at St Rt 139 reduced to one lane due to collapsed pipe
St Rt 339 at 8 MM reduced to one lane due to settlement in roadway. Operations repair forthcoming
The following roads remain closed or partially closed in Sevier County, but could be opened in the next few days:
2408 Hatcher Mountain Road (one lane open)
Snyder Road (1/4 mile in from Jefferson County line)
Sunrise Boulevard (one lane open)
Red Cedar Lane (one lane open)
Cedar Springs Valley Road and Crossover Road are expected to remain closed for the near future as assessment continues.
Union:
St Rt 61 Cracking reported in the roadway at Big Ridge in Union County; Geotech has reviewed. Crews are monitoring, roadway still open.
