Blount County man killed in Oak Ridge crash identified

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. — A Louisville man died Thursday night after a crash in Oak Ridge.

The Oak Ridge Police Department said officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on the 200 block of Lafayette Drive after receiving calls about an erratic driver around 8:50 p.m. Thursday.

34-year-old William Alldis was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, ORPD said. Police said first responders tried life-saving measures on Alldis after arriving at 8:55 p.m. but were unable to save him.

ORPD said Alldis' body was taken to the Knox County Regional Medical Examiner's Office. Police were still investigating the crash as of Friday morning.
