KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Transportation said a crash reported on Alcoa Highway northbound on Tuesday blocked a lane of the road.
It also caused traffic to back up to near the University of Tennessee Medical Center. TDOT said the crash was reported at around 5:17 p.m. Eastern Time. It blocked the right lane and the Kingston Pike entry ramp's left lane.
By 6:30 p.m., TDOT said the crash was cleared.
