KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A portion of Alcoa Highway was closed in South Knoxville after a crash on Thursday.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the northbound side of the highway was briefly closed at Woodson Drive after the crash.
As of 3:30 p.m., traffic was backed up for more than a mile past Governor John Sevier Highway.
