Tennessee wide receiver Bru McCoy posts video of him jogging as he recovers from season-ending injury

McCoy suffered a season ending right ankle fracture-dislocation and then had successful surgery in 2023. He has announced he is coming back for the 2024 season.

HOOVER, Ala. — Tennessee wide receiver Bru McCoy's road recovery seems to be going well.

The Vol posted a video on his Instagram jogging following his season-ending injury last season. McCoy suffered a  right ankle fracture-dislocation against South Carolina and then had successful surgery.

"Will speed it up more this wee," he wrote on his story, also putting "1%".

On Jan. 2, McCoy announced he would return  for another season on Rocky Top.

In the 2023 season, McCoy totaled 17 receptions for 217 yards and one touchdown. In his first season as a Vo in 2022, after transferring from USC, he had 52 receptions for 667 yards and four touchdowns.
