KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee football has fallen in the Associated Press Poll to No. 21.
The Vols dropped down after a second-half collapse to Alabama on Saturday, costing them the game. UT led 20-7 at halftime, only to watch momentum completely swing in the second half as Alabama scored 27 unanswered points in a 34-20 loss for the Vols.
The Vols are now 5-2 overall on the season and 2-2 in SEC play.
UT has another rivalry game this upcoming Saturday. They play Kentucky on the road at 7 p.m. That game will be broadcast on ESPN.
