KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee is welcoming fans to Neyland Stadium on Saturday as the No. 21 Vols play against top-ranked Georgia.
The game is set to start at 3:30 p.m. While football fans may head to Knoxville to see how the Vols perform, several are also heading to Neyland Stadium for a chance to see Dolly Parton give a special performance. She previously announced she would attend the game, and said fans could hear a special rendition of Rocky Top.
Parking lots open at 7 a.m. on Saturday, and there will not be any paid public parking on campus. Shuttles for season ticket parking permit holders will start running at 12:30 p.m. Truly's Tailgate will open at 11:30 a.m., giving fans a chance to enjoy food and drinks ahead of kickoff.
UT also said fans will be able to head to Humanities Plaza starting at 12 p.m. for entertainment, games and plenty of food.
The Vol Walk starts at 1:15 p.m., and the Pride of the Southland Band is set to march at 1:50 p.m. There will also be a pregame flyover of fighter jets from the 311th Fighter Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.
UT said all tickets and parking passes will be digital and can be accessed through mobile devices. Fans can download the Tennessee Athletics app on the App Store or Google Play to download their tickets. Wi-Fi will also be available in most parts of Neyland Stadium.
The last time UT won against Georgia was in 2016 when quarterback Josh Dobbs threw a 43-yard Hail Mary pass to wide receiver Jauan Jennings as time expired for a 34-31 win. The victory was celebrated across Vol Nation and was the highlight of the season.
