Cameron Carr and JP Estrella out with injuries in the Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Two players on the University of Tennessee's men's basketball team will not play in the Baha Mar Championship this week due to injuries. 

Sophomore guard Cameron Carr is out with a left thumb injury and will be out for 4-6 weeks. Carr was injured in the Volunteers' win against Austin Peay. He is averaging 4.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1 assist per game so far this season. 

Sophomore forward J.P. Estrella is still out with a left foot injury he's been dealing with since the summer. He will not complete in the tournament as he continues to be evaluated. Estrella is averaging 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, while shooting 6-of-9 from the floor in his first three appearances this year.
