KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — There's still time left for die-hard Vol fans to make their way to the first round of the College Football Playoff inside "The Shoe" in Ohio. Plenty of tickets are left before the highly anticipated game on Saturday.
Ticket prices for the Vols and Ohio State matchup continued to drop throughout Monday, with the cheapest tickets inside the stadium costing even the most excited fans around $140 as of Monday afternoon.
According to SeatGeek, around 42% of ticket sales were purchased inside the Volunteer State, with only 23% coming from Ohio. The cheapest seats will place fans in the upper levels for their viewing of the Buckeyes against the Vols, while as of Monday evening, fans can land seats 10 rows back from the sideline for less than $300.
