KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Former Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton, running back Jaylen Wright, and cornerback Kamal Hadden all received NFL Combine invitations on Tuesday afternoon. The NFL sent out 321 invitations in total.

Joe Milton was Tennessee's starting quarterback for the 2023-2024 season. He started in every game this season, except for the Citrus Bowl against Iowa.

Milton's college career started at Michigan before transferring to Tennessee in 2021. He had the starting job before getting injured, and Hendon Hooker took over from there.

In 2023, he completed 65% of his passes for 2,813 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also threw five interceptions. Milton had a back-and-forth showing in Reese's Senior Bowl, so this second chance to impress NFL scouts is important if he wants to gain some traction in the league.

Wright declared for the NFL Draft in December after an impressive junior season. He did not compete in the Senior Bowl due to injury, but his standout junior season will likely get scouts excited. In his final year on Rocky top, he totaled 1,013 yards and four touchdowns. At the end of the 2023 season, he became Tennessee's first 1,000-yard rusher since Jalen Hurd reached that milestone back in 2015.

Cornerback Kamal Hadden is the third Vol to receive the invitation. Before suffering a season-ending injury, he totaled 13 solo tackles, three interceptions, and seven pass deflections.

The NFL Combine starts on Feb. 26 and ends on March 4. The prestigious event will take place in Indianapolis.
