KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Vol fans got quite a bit of enjoyment out of Tyler Baron's dance he did after he sacked Texas A&M quarterback Max Johnson this past Saturday in Tennessee's 20-13 win.
It's something the team practiced during the week. Defensive lineman Bryson Eason says a small committee of Vols pick the sack dance based on the silliness or whichever one they laugh the most.
"We have to have some fun with it," Eason said. "We are just out there trying to have fun, make plays and celebrate as much as we can so that's about it."
You can see Baron's dance in the video below.
UT has gotten to celebrate quite a bit sacking the quarterback. The team ranks third in the nation in sacks per game. They have a favorable matchup against Alabama this week, who ranks 126 out of 130 teams in FBS in sacks allowed. They've allowed 31 sacks in six games.
The Vols and Crimson Tide play their historic rivalry game on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
