KNOXVILLE, Tenn — Tennessee cornerback Warren Burrell has entered the transfer portal.
Burrell entered as a graduate transfer.
The redshirt senior recovered one fumble against Austin-Peay and had an interception against UTSA this season. He didn't start like he did in seasons prior.
The Vol cornerback played five seasons in the Orange and White. In 2021 he had his best season starting 12 games for UT. He had a career-high 41 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and seven passes defended.
In 2022, he received a medical redshirt after playing and starting in just two games before sustaining a season-ending injury.
