KNOXVILLE, Tenn — Tennessee volleyball won its opening match of the NCAA Tournament against High Point in straight sets on Friday night inside the Thompson Boling Arena at Food City Center.
They won the first set 25-20, the second set 25-19 and the third set 25-15.
Morgan Fingall led the Lady Vols with 18 kills. Carolina Kerr had 45 assists for UT.
The Lady Vols hosted their first NCAA Tournament match since 2011.
Tennessee plays Western Kentucky next on Saturday at 6 p.m. inside TBA.
