KNOXVILLE, Tenn — Tennessee football running back Jaylen Wright has received an invite to the Senior Bowl.
Wright just finished his junior year at Tennessee but is eligible for the Senior Bowl because he declared for the NFL Draft. He will not play in the Vols' Citrus Bowl game against Iowa on Jan 1.
The running back wrapped up his junior season where he totaled 1,013 rushing yards and scored four touchdowns. Wright was the first 1,000-yard rusher at Tennessee since Jalen Hurd did so in 2015.
Wright was named to the Associated Press All-SEC second team.
