KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee was ranked No. 17 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday.
The Vols are 6-2 in the season and 3-2 in SEC play. They were ranked No. 19 in the latest Associated Press Too 25.
The Vols are coming off a 33-27 road win against Kentucky this past Saturday.
UT plays UConn next for homecoming on Saturday. Game time is at noon inside Neyland Stadium.
