FORT WORTH, Texas — Tennessee outfielder Dylan Dreiling became the fourth Vol picked in the 2024 MLB Draft when he was selected 65 overall by the Texas Rangers at the Cowtown Coliseum in Forth Worth, Texas.

As a sophomore, Dreiling became a mainstay in the Vols' lineup to help Tennessee to their first-ever national title.  The Hays, Kansas native acquired the third-best hitting percentage by the end of 2024, batting .341, right behind Tennessee's top two hitters Christian Moore and Blake Burke.

In 71 games with 70 starts, Dreiling hit 23 home runs and tallied 84 hits, 75 RBIs, and 72 runs scored.

Dreiling's post-season success helped Tennessee to its first-ever national championship. He tallied seven hits, three RBIs, two doubles, and two home runs in the Knoxville Regional. His clutch hitting continued in Game 1 of the College World Series against Florida State. His walk-off hit gave the Vols a 12-11 victory, and in that same game, he recorded a career high four hits.

In two seasons at Tennessee, Dreiling played in 121 games with 94 starts, and hit .328 with 112 hits, 30 home runs, and 95 RBIs.
